The TC Electronic PolyTune series established a new standard in tuning workflow by introducing polyphonic tuning technology to live performers and session musicians. Designed to streamline on-stage adjustments, this pedal allows players to strum all strings simultaneously to instantly identify which strings require tuning, significantly reducing downtime between songs compared to traditional single-string tuners.
The hardware is constructed with a rugged, die-cast aluminum enclosure designed to withstand heavy touring environments. It features a bright, high-density LED matrix display that automatically adjusts its intensity based on ambient lighting conditions, ensuring clear visibility on dark stages or under direct sunlight. Physical connections include standard 1/4-inch mono input and output jacks, a power input, and a 9V DC power output link to daisy-chain power to adjacent pedals.
